Lan Lee started her investment career at Legg Mason Canada (formerly Perigee Investment Counsel Inc.) in 1998, in the Portfolio Management and the Fund Administration area. She gained most of her investment experience during her years at Legg Mason managing the administrative functions of over $12 billion in asset for institutional, private and retail clients. Her team was responsible for daily administration of all accounts, financial statements and MRFPs and year-end tax slips as well as supporting the client service group. Lan also liaised with custodians, auditors and third-party service providers to ensure that all inquiries were dealt promptly and efficiently.
Prior to this, Lan worked at Norwich Union Life Insurance (now BMO Life Insurance) as an actuarial associate after graduating from University of Western Ontario with a BSc. Hons. Actuarial Science in 1989.
